This is the tree which I found on the front yard of my recently bought property at Florida, Pompano Beach. It has a long over surface roots.

Maybe a Ficus. Does it have milky sap? Can you show a close-up of the leaves; front & back?

Definitely a Ficus, I'd say. I'd guess Ficus macrophylla or Ficus elastica.
