Hello! I would like to know what this plant is? Its leaves are a bit similar to that of the coffee tree's, but they are very harsh and hairy and hard. I brought it from Greece 2 years ago; it had grown along a roadside.
This is the one that grows here in my area: http://www.floridata.com/ref/E/eriobot.cfm. My neighbor has these trees all along the fence in the backyard and they sprout up in my lawn on occasion. The fruits on her trees are a small variety but tasty. A lady I worked with many years ago used to make a jam with the fruit and she said the fare it took lots of the little fruits to make a batch of the jam.
