1984: Minnesota declared the morel as the official state mushroom.

A very interesting item today. Oregon also has an official state mushroom http://www.shgresources.com/or/symbols/mushroom/

Are there any other states where a mushroom is significant? There certainly are lots of native mushrooms that might be recognized.
