This is probably a dumb question, but can you tell me how rootbound plumerias should/can be? I haven't potted them in anything larger for several years, and I can see top roots (and some on the sides too) on most of the plants. They bloomed great last year, so I'm hoping they are all okay- they're starting to have their little lobster claws come out now.
So, do they like to be snug in their pots? If so, how snug? I want to find out how much larger of a pot to put them into. I know that Hibiscus like to be snug, and actually do quite well as their roots get tight, but I have no idea if this is the same for plumerias...I also know that if you put brugs or hibbies in pots that are too large, they'll be too wet and likely die.
Thanks in advance for your help!
