    I still mourn the loss of my long-lived peach tree. I remember cleaning out the deep freeze 2 years after the tree died & how thrilled my family was when I pulled out 2 qts. of it's last crop of peaches. That spot is now the site of my new rose garden. Sort of a memorial to a favorite tree.
