I just repotted two orchids that were bursting out of their small plastic pots. I wish I knew their names - one had purple, spidery sort of flowers and one had small, almost fluffy-looking small white flowers. Neither one has flowers anymore but both plants are growing.
The instructions on the bag of orchid medium said after repotting, to keep the plants in a very shady location for "a few weeks". Really?? Can that be right?
The instructions also said to thoroughly wet the bark before repotting, which I did, and then to not water the orchids for a week. Is this right? I'd love for these to grow flowers again.
