My hubby and I are growing peppers for the first time. We have a variety of peppers, chili, anaheim, poblano, habanero, bell, and a few others. They are all located in one bed int he corner of our yard. Last weekend we struck up a conversation with another customer at a nursery about the peppers. She used to grow peppers for commercial purposes. She said we might need to move the peppers to prevent cross pollination. I had a couple of questions about this. I wondered how big of an issue this is? Our purpose in growing peppers is a bit different than the woman's at the nursery. Maybe it won't be a problem for us. Second, if moving them is something we should do, how far apart do they need to be? I'm dealing with a yard that is 35'x45'. Lastly, we only transplanted them a couple of weeks ago, should they be moved? It's being to roast here in Phoenix.
