| Sorry 'bout the weight gain - I know how that happens.
We replaced Bubba's dining room floor on Mother's Day and the Monday following. Worked about 40 hours form 10:30 Saturday night fill 8:45 Monday night.
Still helping with the 80YO farmhouse, too. Those projects and my double yard try to keep me from changing weight very much. Wish I could drop another 20+, but since it has stabilized, I'm not worried about it.
Here is a shot of the demolition on the floor at Bubba's. The water & termite damage is all gone now. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| I love Bubba's dining room , so cozy . Any place that's been there as long as it has deserves a new floor. Can't wait for you to suprise me with your choice of next meal .
Those termites made me throw away a forth of the knotty pine lumber I salveged that was stored on solid concrete floor .It's all safe now in Georgia . It came out of a house that had a fire , and now I get to buy a planer .(for Johnny , of course ) lol , digger |

| I want a good one, too. Keep using my tiny 3.25" Harbor Freight hand power planer.

| I have a mega-mouse, but loaned it once - now missing parts - arrggghh!!
I also have a Fein Multimaster - love it, but @ $300+ it should be good. Their patent expired, so Bosch, Dremel, Harbor Freight, and Sears all have (or will have shortly) equivlilent machines. Harbor Freight's is $39.95.
The imitations do not have all the features and attachments, yet.
I used mine to cut and level studs inside a wall to install an A/C unit at Bubba's, and to make some adjustments on the subfloor, too. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| That's the one.
At Bubba's we also used it to cut off the borads on the back wall to allow the new plywood to fit under them. Made a small plywood jig to be able to make all the cuts the same height from the floor.
This is Ed cleaning up the sawdust after cutting all of them. The Fein and the jig are on the floor. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| There were 3 of us. With a few minutes help from a couple of others. Ed is one of our employees who was a building manager, so he is very talented, but does not have many tools. Clay is the owner of the 80yo farmhouse that we are restoring. He loves to do the work, but had no experience until he got me involved. I'm still teaching him about proper use and care of tools, but he did buy a roofing tool - one that is used to remove shingles - was the only way we got the carpet up from the top layer of plywood.
Nothing is ever what it seems.
Here's a shot of Clay working on the carpet removal. It took 3 hours just for this task. Click the image for an enlarged view.
