This is really cool! The concept seems to be kind of like a barn-raising scenario only the goal is a permaculture landscape garden as the result.
The last few paragraphs talk a little about the concept of a "food forest". Which I think is the same thing we've been calling "guild gardening".
;-)
Seems like this idea could spread and be adapted to lots of different circumstances.
