My question is in regard to the amount of full sun they will require. I read through the threads and found a lot of helpful information and everyone seems nice so I am making my first post as a DG member. I am fairly new to Midwest gardening (moved here from Fl). I fell in LOVE with peonies and had the wonderful experience of finding three tree peonies in bloom and the misfortune of moving near a nursery who specializes in the "Rare and Unusual"(I'll just tell the kids we're eating cereal for a month!). I purchased two Yagumo (one has a huge blossom and the other a little smaller with a bloom the size of a grapefruit). I also was able to purchase a Kamatanishiki with a gigantic bloom!! I read that they like well ammended soil with good drainage and to be very careful not to plant them too deep. ANY OTHER ADVICE FOR A FIRST TIME TREE PEONY GARDENER?
