| Hey everyone,
Sorry, I haven't posted in so long. I've been swamped with so much stuff going on, it's crazy.
Here's what I've been up to. First, I did a small sculpture for a friends birthday, and he showed some friends who also wanted one. That snowballed and I ended up selling about 50 of them.

| After that, I got an email from one of the customers and he wanted me to do a sculpture of a Prowler for him and his friends, and I ended up selling almost 100 of those. It's a LOT of work, but I'm not complaining. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| Once I finally finished making all those, I was hired to do a mural for guys home theater. He wanted a comic book theme. It was nice to get back to painting, even if it was cartoon-ish. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| One more mural photo. I had to leave room for the projection screen on this wall. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| And finally, now that I have the mural finished, I had some free time to do some studio work. I did a simple Silverpoint with oil.
Next up is another car sculpture of a Thunderbird. I know I have at least 50 ordered already. After that, a big painting somehow combining particle physics and astronomy. I have no clue how I'll put that together.
I haven't been on DG very much, because (for now) I haven't been able to afford to renew my membership. My better half got laid off, so my art is the only thing supporting my family.
But now that we're both working again, we should get back on our feet and rocking again real soon.

| James, it is so good to see you back on DG and showing your amazing artwork. It is all great but my favorite is the little bird. When you do the cars, do you have them done in bronze? Laverne |

| Thanks Laverne, I like the bird too. I need to get a better picture of it though. The colors are off pretty bad in this one.
No, I definitely can't afford to cast that many pieces in bronze, so I am using a polyurethane resin to cast the duplicates. Then I finish them with a bronze dust paint, or a silver wax depending on the series.
