I have a little Gala apple tree that I planted in 2007. It has a few blossoms on it this spring, and my question is, should I let it bear fruit this year (even if only a few) or should I prune the blossoms off and let the tree keep directing its energy into growing? The trunk is about 1.5" in diameter. Thanks!
