I'd like to hear other people's experience starting their peppers from seeds this year. I started all of mine on 3/6 planning to get them into the garden around the middle to end of May. I think I need to adjust the timing next year:
The bells and other sweet peppers are all about 10 to 12" tall already. They should be planted now, but it's still too early, I believe.
The hotter peppers (Fish, Lemon Drop, Fatali, Datil and several I ordered from Beth at Peppermania) are still very short ... mostly 2 to 3". Looks like they should have been started a little earlier. They look healthy and all, just very slow to grow.
I'm just curious if others experienced similar patterns.
Thanks.
Mary K.
