We (actually, it's just me) have decided to plant some really colorful vines together...and I need ideas for the combination...
We have a stone wall, abut 3' high in a horseshoe in front of the house. There IS enough distance from the house that the wall could support (visually speaking) a couple of colorful vines growing along the top of the wall.
When we first moved in I planted a Star Jasmine to grow on the wall. There is NO soil, and the Star Jasmine has done zip... We will build a rock wall planter to replant the Star Jasmine in and the other two (or three?) vines. The area has full sun almost all day and LOTS of rain.
Bougainvilla isn't good because we get too much rain. Bob doesn't like Plumbago. I love purples and yellows or oranges...I want a warm color and a cool one...
Any ideas of color combinations within the requirements. I plan on pruning with a weedwhacker!!!
Mahalo nui loa!!!!
