Joy, those sure don't look like Bush Beans too me. I'm no expert though. It looks more like runner or half-runner pole bean. My Bush Beans don't reach out and grab like that. My prediction...they will form a massive ball of confusion if you don't give them something to grab onto.
BTW, 8 feet is easy for a tomato plant. Especially Cherry Tomato plants. I had one that grew out of it's cage and then kept growing back to the ground last year. It was close to 10 feet when all said and done.
Ray: I've never grown beans before, just planted them to see what they would look like and do, should I give them something to grab onto and what do you suggest? I'm getting about 8 strawberries a day now and they are getting bigger.
