Hello everyone!

I'm new here and have a few questions about painting on wood. A friend has asked me to paint on a Muskoka chair and I was wondering a few things. What is the best primer to use? and are acrylics better to use than oils? Also if anyone has any tips, they would be greatly appreciated!
