I'm adding raised beds to my garden and am looking for some direction. I plan to make the beds 12" high and they will be 25' x 2' and some are 25' x 4'. This garden is in a remote location in north Idaho. There are "critters" around I know, rodents I'm not sure yet how many and what kind.
Is it necessary or just a good idea to install wire in the bottom of the beds? What size holes?
Should the drip water system be on the surface or buried?
Are anchor stakes on the sides to hold the 2x6 cedar boards together or to hold the frame down?
Seems like more answers lead to more questions but I'll start there.
Thanks,
Cal
