I have several clumps of daffodils that need dividing - lots of foliage; few blooms. I thought I needed to wait until fall to do this - my big concern being finding the clumps then after the foliage is gone. A friend told me that they can be divided after the foliage yellows - which would probably be in early June here in zone 5a/4b. She further said NOT to replant the divisions at that time, but to store them in a cool dry basement for fall planting. Does anyone know the best method on this, have suggestions on finding those clumps in the fall (if I wait until then)? Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Linda
