I have had great luck with coir this season, and thats putting it mildly. Unlike peat, you can grow in it straight. I love it. I have never seen rice hulls, but have to check on that.
I happen to grow daylilies. I have had virtually no crown rot using the coir, and thats been unheard of for me in the past.
Thanks for the tip, especially with regard to the DLs. I haven't tried straight coir yet, but I've been hearing nothing but good results from those who have. :-)
