Did anyone watch Michael Fox’s special last night on being an optimist? He visited with some dairy farmers in upstate New York about the work involved in farming, low milk prices, etc. He asked one of the farmers how they stayed so optimistic. The farmer replied “a little bit of denial and a little bit of insanity”. Lately I’ve been thinking farming is a lot of denial and a lot of insanity.

Anybody else agree with me?
