We can still play badminton without shuttle even after the racket gets broken. This is a wooden racket that broke off many years ago. There is also the aluminum one that broke. Both are now useful as duster cloth handles. Just tie a suitable piece of cloth at the end in such a way that it does not gets thrown off when we dust using jerky wristy movements. You may have to smooth the part where the racket head gets broken so that it does not tear off the cloth. If possible, retain that small "T" at the top which enables tying the cloth easily. To me this is a very useful tool. I'm playing badminton sans shuttle, after someone broke the racket.
