Here's my problem. Looking for some help. Not having much
luck. I have a salt water pool. Near the shallow end, where
the salt water splashes out, over a wall that is about 5 ft
high, all the shrubs have died. It's an area about 25ft
long. I have been searching for a shrub that will flower, is
evergreen if possible and can handle the salt. I've been
reading about Glossy Abelia, (Abelia Grandiflora). Can
anybody out there help? I live in Atlanta, GA Zone 7.

try sea grape --no great blooms, but highly salt tolerant and should be evergreen.

I'd agree with David, except I don't know whether it would take the cold. You should try one of the Boobiallas - Myoporium sps. They're more cold climate, drought tolerant, evergreen, small white flowers. And they're very salt tolerant. They have a superficial resemblance to Scaevola taccada (formerly S. sericea).

You might be too cold in Atlanta for some of the plants except as annuals. I do not know a lot about salt water pools other than those using ocean water. Obviously that far inland; I am wondering what kind of salts you are using.
