Seems as though the flowers in this area have an internal clock set to alarm on mother's day.
I checked peonies at 0630 this am which were barely open. Now some are fully open and
changing almost hourly. Irises are popping open within hours. I have a very old rose that
is breaking from bud to bloom all of a sudden.
Is it possible the flowers have more respect for our mothers than we do?
