Mine had a hard winter most were dug up and stored in my shed for the winter bare root. Never have done this before but I was forced into this last year. we were in the low 20's several times for hours had to put heaters in there to keep them from freezing. I did lose a few but all in all they made it these are very hardy plants when you think of what they can go thru.
