I'm getting my list together for fall and thought I'd try Brussels sprouts, I have two questions, from what I've read they need a high amount of nitrogen as do beans..should I use the Innoculant? Also how many plants per person? For some reason i have in my head 5 but not sure where I saw this.

I grew sprouts two seasons ago at four per EB using the standard 10-10-10 and they did very well but they don't taste sweet until after the first cold snap. They were fun to grow but need a lot of time to flourish. At least four or more months as they are a winter crop in my zone.

they are here as well, plant out date is either September or October..I'd have to check my sheet for exact dates. Just wondered at the productivity and if one EB would produce enough, Do you harvest at one time? I start my seedlings this weekend for fall and just trying to get everything lined up that I will plant or need.

Araness,
The above chart is what I got from dmj1218. She recommended that the Houston Zoners could probably plant out as early as the Victoria/Corpus recommendation and span the entire schedule. So our plantout would be from Dec 28 thru Feb 1.

Hopes this helps.

Paw, how does this look to you?

Which Brussels Sprouts do you have seeds for? I'll order ones you don't have and we can swap some, if that's ok?
