My first crochet purse. I'm a knitter really, because crocheting tends to hurt my hands, but I've learned with this project that I really enjoy 1-skein crochet projects! Though this took actually about 1 1/3 skeins of Yarn Bee's Dreamy Chenille. It's soooooo soft!

The pattern is free at http://shortylamcrochet.blogspot.com/2006/11/nordstrom-hobo-...

I am on ravelry with the name ARIELLURIA, so if you want to see my notes there, I made lots of them. Especially when it came to the handle part. I had such a hard time finding one I liked so I had to improvise ;o)

I like linings that contrast the purse, here's a shot with lining showing:

That's beautiful, Ladyborg. I love that snazzy lining. Have you tried any felted purses? They're nice because you don't have to line them.

No felting yet. I do have one going on my new Bond machine, but it's been stalled for months.

Ladyborg, I love that bag. The stitch is very nice as is the lining.
