Received from Breck's today and can't tell which end is up???? There are some fine hairy roots? Obviously a new gardener...

They came in a bag, bareroot??? You can usually tell the roots are longer lighter and you can see the top part should have more of a straight cut, where they cut the plant growth off.

thanks for the input. i'm pretty sure we put them in the pot properly. guess we will have to wait and see.
