I got some Coleus last year, and planted them in the ground. Come fall I took cuttings, rooted them, and they grew in the house. Now I'm wanting to put them back in the ground again this year.
They have gotten rather leggy. Do I pinch them back before planting them out? Do I plant them out then pinch them later? I can see good reasoning to both ideas. I really want to set them out soon, but I won't if they need to be pinched and start growing again first. I've had them setting outside on the porch to acclimate for about a week now.
Thank you for your help. Was going to post a picture, but they were droopy from needing a drink, and I didn't want to post how bad they look at this moment. I can post a pic when they perk up.
