A few years ago, we transplanted some bamboo to the back property.
All this time, I thought we had Timber Bamboo, but in trying to determine
the botanical term, I want to make certain I'm on the right track.
This one in particular was extremely tall, maybe 40 feet tall in a large grove
the original owner stated took 25 years to produce. It is a few inches wide.
During some pretty heavy and consistent rains, suddenly these things are
just shooting out of the ground, growing six or so inches per day. We have
been measuring, it is not our imagination.
