OK, so Im not a big tomato eater, but love to grow them. I grew sungold for the first time this year hoping to find something I might like. I picked my first 'ripe' one yesterday. I waited till it was deep orange and when you kinda bumped it, it came loose on its own. Thing is, a persimmon had nothing on this. It was not sweet, and it had a BIG tomato flavor. Very juicy buy meat kinda mushy. The seeds were green however, and I thought maybe I picked to soon. How do you know when yours are ready?
