I have 4 seedlings (just germinated) of E. giganteum. I already have E. alpinum and E. planum... The seeds need a cold period, and germinate with 'Spring' - I brought mine into the warm a bit early to get a head start. I did think about about lifting/dividing one plant for a friend, but now I would rather proceed from seedlings after reading your article.
