Sharon, wonderful article, as usual! You are such a wonderful story teller! I could imagine you standing in the room and all your mom's friends looking at your crown...that must have been hilarious!LOL
I forgot to say I also love violets and their scent.
    Thanks for making my day!

I'm here with Adina, Sharon, and I can't believe those ladies weren't totally captivated by your splendor! I picture my own little g-granddaughters and couldn't summon any anger whatsoever. You don't have a photo of that, by any chance, do you? What a sight that must have been.

    More hugs,

Great story Sharran. Those first lovely violets are my favorite spring flower. Glad you did that, even though you got into trouble. It must have been a wonderful experience!

I remember every spring going down to the creek that flowed by the end of our street to pick violets with my next-door neighbor. What lovely memories! Thanks for another great article, Sharon! I'd love to see a picture of your costume! ;-)

I'll bet you looked just like a little blonde Cinderella angel doll.

I wish there were pictures too.

Thanks again Shar for another weekly talisman of a story.

No photos of little girls who misbehaved.
I am with my 4 year old grand son this week, and he and I make up really great stories for his Star Wars characters. My son just shakes his head.
But... Since I am in the cold north with no computer except my cell phone, one thank you will have to reach all of you.

I laughed so hard as episodes from when I was "pounded" quickly rolled thru my mind.

Did stories skip your son? Perhaps you & gr-son use the same stores for different characters--Star Wars has a princess but not violet ones.

Sharon, I know you'll enjoy that visit with your g-son and all the stories you will share between you! Who knows? One of them might show up here someday.

Hi again from windy Chicago. Son is an attorney, Iris, am sure he spins some yarns, too.
    Angie, you better be packing.
    Patel, you are so right!
