I sealed my driveway yesterday and after looking all over the label, I can't find the curing time. I used Black Jack Filler and sealer. In the area next to the garage it is obviously not dry after 19 hours. (lots of cracks there) How long should I wait? 48hrs? 96? Until it has looked dry for half a day? Can I park my van on the portion that dried immediately and walk around the soft looking spots?
Thanks in advance,
June

June;
A lot depends on the heat and humidity as to drying/curing time. Typically you can expect it to be dry enough to walk on in 24 hours. But if the temps are below the 70s or if the humidity is high, it could go longer. Also the thickness it was applied will have an effect as well. There are so many variables that it's not a surprise they wouldn't put a time on the label. It's really something you have to "play by ear" so to speak. Regardless of the conditions, you should be able to use it as you normally would in 3 days.

The Realtor just parked at the end of the drive and stayed there for 10 min. with NO Problems! (Can you tell how glad I was?) That part of the driveway gets sun all day long and the first part laid was drying as I finished the bucket. Kinda' surprised me since the directions were to wet the driveway and apply to the wet surface, I thought it would have taken longer. I only had 5 buckets to do (short drive) and all but the last one that is in the shade dried quickly. I am just going to guess that it will take until tomorrow and I'll poke the spots that looks suspicious. Am I guessing right?
Thanks DP!

Sounds like it'll all be cured fully by tomorrow sometime. Glad for you. I know what a bummer it would be if it didn't cure at all.
Have a great day June, and thanks for the support on the storytellers thread. You're great to have there.
