There's so much to see at Quail as Geoff Stein pointed out in his article today. I just spent a day there with my granddaughters. It was worth the price of a membership for me as a resident of the area.

My last opportunity to visit was in 1989 but it was a very special place even then.

A great article, Geoff, and beautiful pictures as well, DesertPirate. Makes me want to be there, too. Thanks to both of you.

What a beautiful place! And Pirate, the narrative with the pictures is very good. You should be writing for a garden magazine!

Beautiful pictures and "just right" narrative with them. This makes a nice addition to Geoff's article. Loved them both.

Wonderful article Geoff! Love the photos DesertPirate! Brought back some wonderful memories of my visit to Quail Botanical Gardens about 11 years ago, when my sister lived in San Diego. Unfortunately, I can't find the CD with the pics I took. Now that she has moved back to San Diego from Maine, I will have to go there again, just to see how much it has changed since then. Thanks to you both!
