Today I found this orchid growing on an old fig tree in the middle of a Eucalyptus plantation near my house. The fig tree has had a hard life, been lopped numerous times in its life and was now hollow. The orchid had a faint smell of vanilla. Any idea what it is? The tree also had cabbage ferns and other fig trees (one huge) growing on it.
