    Ok, I do have one more plant I've admired - and curious to know what to search for during next year's planting season. I hope these aren't overly obvious questions and pics and that others might benefit, too. Thanks again, Sandra

    its an amaranthus, although i cant tell you specifically which one it is.

    In Iowa people call them "Summer Poinsetta"
