WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT ORANGE MILDEWY STUFF THAT COLLECT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PLANTS? IS THERE A WAY TO REMOVE ALL THAT WITHOUT HURTING MY PLANTS?

I've never seen anything orange on my plants. Powdery mildew can result from too-cool temps and lack of air circulation (a fan may help).

If you decide to subscribe (hope you will; we have a lot of fun here!), post your question with pictures if possible in the African Violet & Gesneriad forum... otherwise, you can post in the Beginner Houseplants forum.

Oh, and please try to turn off your caps lock key when you post, because otherwise it looks like you're shouting... just one of those conventions, like using smilies. :-)

Good luck!
