Never went through a purple princess stage myself. Wrong gender. If I had, I might come down on the side of violets' beauty, rather than their invasiveness. Here, however, have seen violets on the march, from one property to the next. Awfully pretty, but awfully determined. But Sharon, I love violets in your article!
