My husband received his first social security check today. The amount deposited was the full amount stated in his benefits letter. There were no taxes (state or federal) deducted. I am sure I read that we would have to pay taxes on social security income - does this mean that I have to put away money each month to pay the taxes? Or is there something else we should be doing?
Thanks!
Jeannie
