We remodeled our kitchen last year and installed 2 Icon Electrolux ovens (conventional and high speed oven), plus an Electrolux Icon side by side refrigerator.

The applicances look nice and cost a pretty penny, the problems we have are:

The high speed oven shut down, it has been down several months because a tiny spring in the door causes the oven to short, the technician says the tiny spring is in back order and can not do anything until he gets it, and flat out told me it is a design flaw, he has seen several speed ovens with the same recurring problem. I called Electrolux and of course they can not do anything, will not even give an extended warranty because the oven is not working.

Does anyone else have these problems with them?

The ice maker machine in the freezer, started to dump water, fortunately we found it soon after it started, but it took us several hours to dry and clean, it did some damage to the wood floors, but they replaced the ice machine.

I am considering writing to the State attorney general, it seems to me they need to own their design flaws.

Thanks
