Have any of you fellow Floridians ever had those 6-foot tall wooden fences installed around the perimeters of your property? You know the ones I mean? The ones for privacy, usually with slightly staggered boards to allow some air through but not the prying eyeballs and noises from the road. Various companies sell and install them, I realize.
Do the companies pull permits? Do they make you get a new survey (assuming the fence is going along the boundaries)?
Also, any rough idea of cost (per foot?) would be welcome. I don't want to call them first because I don't want to get on a sales list and be pestered, ya know? How long did it take them to install it for you? Warnings, cautions, recommended styles, etc.? Any info appreciated. Thanks!
