I have let Pacman broccoli go to seed, and it just wont turn brown!
Seedlings were planted around september in spring. Seed pods formed and grew nice and plump, but havent changed for the last few months. I have broken a seed pod open at intervals to check their progress, seeds inside a white, not black. Most leaves have been nibbled off by critters, but plants are still fully green. It is now winter, we have had our first light frost, and the heavy rains have started. Witholding water is impossible. The other plants in the row have made numerous side shoots but are now ready to be pulled to make way for new crops.
When can I pull the seed plants out to harvest the seeds?
