I thought this was a type of vinca vine last fall when I found it. Now it has grown and I am wondering what I have been watching. If it is a fast spreader, it is OK, but if it is non-native and invasive, NOT ok.

It's probably Euonymous fortunei. Not native, not too invasive. A popular groundcover with nice fall coloration.

Not sure what it is; it doesn't look like Euonymus fortunei to me

Latest picture of the same plant. It is rooting where it touches the ground. Not turning color -- may be evergreen. Growing moderately fast, and not being too thuggish. Any more ideas would be welcome. I have three of these, and I am thinking about putting one under my mailbox for winter color.
