Just did my first 'haircut' on the yellow and lavender mums growing in the yard yesterday, and it occurred to me I could maybe root them. Am I right in guessing they'd root easily? And is there a preferred method? Just stick 'em in water or go the soil and hormone route? I stripped down the cuttings and poked them into some water. They're sitting in my mini-greenhouse awaiting their fate. They haven't flagged at all, still perky and erect.
