I hope I'm doing this right and the picture shows up...I've had a miserable couple of days with this computer not cooperating with me! (has anyone else had trouble D/Ling or installing the new Adobe Flash Player?)
I've been watching for someone to be home for 2 weeks where I saw this plant, ever since it started blooming, and today I finally caught someone. The guy didn't know the name of it and he didn't seem to be very happy about giving me a cutting, but he did, and I thanked him very much. It is about 10' tall, somewhat teardrop shaped, and the flowers are in small (so far) bunches rather evenly spaced around the outside of the plant. The flowers are 1 1/2" across.
Thanks in advance for any help IDing this plant...it is very stand-outish. I have it in a glass of water until I can learn the best way to propagate it, I don't think this guy will go for giving me another cutting if I kill this one!
