What type of video camera do you use? I would love to spy on them in the winter.

Pentax Optio W60 waterproof to about 10 feet,
small digital camera - actual size 4" X 2" - cost about $300
I put the end of a tripod (with the camera attached) on a pole and lowered the whole thing in the water and waved it around, I was not sure what I was recording, still came out ok

That was beautiful! I would love to capture my koi & goldfish on video like that, though I don't think we get that type of snow and ice in Raleigh, NC.

What a beautiful video. I always wondered what my fish were up to all winter long.
