Thanks for the article, Palmbob. It was excellent information on a genus of plant which is rare in Ireland, (I have seen only Y. gloriosa, Y. recurvifolia and Y. filamentosa). They survive the winter well with us, the lowest recent temperature being -10. The wet winter is propably more of a problem than frost.
