Oct 23, 2004: Action I performed
Redrum! Redrum!
We got the first coat of primer up on the walls. WOW, what a difference. It is going to need at least one more coat of primer, possibly two more in some trouble spots where we had to scrape the original paint away where it was flaking. Still, it gives us an idea of what's to come....and we like the idea!
Tonight we're getting some GOOD paint brushes. All we ever get are crappy cheap ones and the frustration level mounted as I tried to cut in around the ceiling and the trim. The trim we decided to remove and paint separately, then replace it on the dry walls. The ceiling I can't just remove and fix! :X So, tonight we're going to let the primer dry, and go buy our trim colors and some good brushes and rollers. It's worth the better results we'll get.
And now...Pictures! And so it began, with Howie manning the roller:
