Isn't it just fine?

Ooooooh, spooky. But the oven light works, and it was 7:39pm! That acorn squash on top is going to be one of the first things cooked in the oven. Mmmmmmm...

The oven has a dial, but the clock and timers are electronic. I like this! And the control dials don't have any little annoying ridges in them to clean. Smooth, smooth, smooth.

The close coils shown here on one of the new large burners will distribute heat more evenly. The less expensive models we saw had less coils and a lot more space in between them. This stove has plug-in Cal-Rod(TM) heating elements. The drip pans are one-piece and porcelain enameled. Small detail, but I like how they're grey.

This is a feature I really loved - the "clean-well" system. No more digging greasy overflow yuck out from the corners underneath the cooktop. Hallelujah! And the cooktop is held up by two supports, which I think is nice, too. The little cylindrical doohicky at the upper right is the vent from the oven. The oven door latch for use when self-cleaning is at the front.

Look at that big oven! Its capacity is 5 cubic feet (WxHxD: 24.5x19x19). All the better to bake a huge thanksgiving turkey in, my dear!

This is the cleanest this oven will EVER be. Even though it's self-cleaning, I want it recorded for posterity that we actually have, at one brief, shining moment, had a completely clean oven. LOL

The dent that saved us $42. :o) And the linoleum we'd dearly love to replace.
