Got this 2 gal plant today at DI.. not sure what it is.. has flattish leaves curled up and VERY spiny on the back sides, only sparsely spiny on the upper sides.

get a touch of brown of some of lower leaves... hope this is burn, and not rot. That would be a major bummer!!

Some damaged areas on leaves... from either sun burn, or excess watering... or both. But seems to be growing out of it.

top view after the freeze... minimal, if any damage from freeze, but can see damage from hot sun this summer
